Daytrace 是一款本地优先的时间记录工具。Daytrace 不要求注册账号，也不会向 Daytrace、开发者或任何第三方发送活动记录、分析数据、诊断数据或广告标识符。
Daytrace is a local-first time tracker. It does not require an account and does not send activity data, analytics, diagnostics, or advertising identifiers to Daytrace, the developer, or any third party.
在 Mac 上处理的数据 / Data processed on your Mac
只有在你明确同意开始记录后，Daytrace 才会在本机处理并保存：
- 当前前台 App 的名称；
- 活跃时间与离开电脑的时间；
- 仅用于区分本机数据桶的 Mac 设备名称；
- 从可用的文档或开发工具上下文推断，或由你的规则指定的项目名称；
- 你配置的分类与效率评分。
Mac App Store 版本不申请 macOS“辅助功能”权限，不读取或记录窗口标题，也不枚举其他进程的工作目录；项目归集仅使用你配置的 App 名称规则。源码运行版与站外 macOS 版仅在你授予“辅助功能”权限后读取窗口标题，并可短暂检查可用路径、工程标记与可选 .daytrace-project 配置的首行来推断项目名称；只保存推断出的项目名称，不保存原始路径或文档内容。Windows 版会按系统能力读取前台窗口标题。
After you explicitly agree to start recording, Daytrace can process and store the foreground application name, active and idle time, the Mac device name used only to distinguish local data buckets, inferred or assigned project names, and categories and productivity ratings you configure. The Mac App Store build does not request Accessibility access, read or record window titles, or enumerate other processes' working directories; project attribution uses only app-name rules you configure. Source and direct macOS builds read window titles only after you grant Accessibility access. They may briefly inspect available paths, project markers, and the first line of an optional .daytrace-project configuration file to infer a project name; only the inferred project name is stored, not the original path or document contents. The Windows build reads the foreground window title according to system capabilities.
Daytrace 不记录按键、截图、剪贴板内容、密码或文件内容。
Daytrace does not record keystrokes, screenshots, clipboard contents, passwords, or file contents.
存储、传输与共享 / Storage, transfer, and sharing
活动数据与设置保存在你的 Mac 上。Daytrace 不包含云服务、广告 SDK、分析 SDK 或遥测端点，也不会把这些数据分享给第三方。你主动导出的数据只会写入你在 macOS 保存面板中选择的位置。
Activity data and settings are stored on your Mac. Daytrace has no cloud service, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or telemetry endpoint, and does not share this data with third parties. Data you export is written only to the location you choose in the macOS save panel.
隐私选择、保留与删除 / Privacy choices, retention, and deletion
数据会一直保留在你的 Mac 上，直到你主动删除。你可以从菜单栏暂停记录；在 Daytrace 设置中撤回记录同意、永久删除活动记录或导出自己的数据。使用源码运行版或站外 macOS 版时，你还可以在 macOS 系统设置中撤销“辅助功能”权限。撤回同意只会停止未来的记录，不会自动删除已有数据。
Data remains on your Mac until you delete it. You can pause recording from the menu bar. In Settings, you can withdraw recording consent, permanently delete activity records, or export your data. When using a source or direct macOS build, you can also revoke Accessibility permission in macOS System Settings. Withdrawing consent stops future recording but does not automatically delete existing data.
儿童隐私 / Children's privacy
Daytrace 不要求用户提供年龄或身份信息，也不会把数据发送给开发者。Daytrace 并非专门面向儿童设计。
Daytrace does not ask users for age or identity information and does not send data to the developer. It is not specifically directed to children.
政策变更 / Changes
如果 Daytrace 的数据处理方式发生变化，本政策与 App 内的记录同意说明会在新做法生效前更新。
If Daytrace's data practices change, this policy and the in-app recording consent notice will be updated before the new practice takes effect.
